Chef 'Ana had the privilege of collaborating with Janet's Samoa and Teropika on their Visit to Aotearoa , New Zealand. Chris Sablan the Marketing Director of Janet's Samoa has been supportive of our Journey at Gia's G&G Catering especially having intolorence to Dairy and Certain Foods. We had further discussion on how more and more of Pasifika people are now coming forward with what they didnt know then but know now is a common intolorence to Dairy Products. Studies from Auckland University has also shown that the number in Reports from the Emergency unit for an Anaphylaxis shock is higher for Maori and Pasifika. We are the only Catering Company in Aotearoa who help raise these awarenesses via our Product and Services as well as our Pasifika Chefs Health & Allergy Awareness Kai Serie which is happening in December this year 2025.
Chris too agrees it is difficult to find a Space that caters for his Needs that is Tasty, Nutritious, Presented Well and is Pasifika Inspired. From his dining experiences with us he was inspired along with his Team upon his visit from Samoa to create this beautiful story of us capturing the essence of what we do at Gia's along with Launching our Fresh Pasta Deli Pop-up at 214 store 4 Karangahape Road, Auckland City.
